Why
Gallery owners who need to increase their galleries sales numbers are having a hard time selling online. So the goal is to easily create an auction with a selected work of art and publish it.
What it is
Artlify in an app to help gallery owners to easily create online auctions with theirs works of art.
My role
Product Design. This is a project made for Google UX Design Professional Certificate.
User Research
At first was used an unmoderated usability study with gallery owners and art enthusiasts. In the beginning the main objective was to provide a way to select several works of art and create an auction with all the items and publish it for a specific audience.
After that it was noticeable the struggling of users dealing with the concepts of an "audience" and the pain points while trying to create an auction directly after selecting just one work of art, and not a group of different pieces. So the flow was simplified to just one straightforward journey: creating one auction based on a single piece.

Henry just landed in US to promote his art gallery. Being a businessman, he's always busy and trying to improve his outcomes. Having spent so much money in the gallery infrastructure and art pieces, he needs to monetize it all improving the sales process. Unfortunately, sales are still offline and quite niche-oriented.
Main goal
Reaching his gallery sales full potential with low-cost auctions to ordinary people.
Main frustration
Usually Henry finds easier to sell art pieces to intellectual and well-off people with a personal sales approach.

Positioning Statement
For gallery owners who are struggling trying to sell their gallery's works of art, Artlify is an art auction app that easily creates auctions to sell selected pieces. Unlike Artsy or Singulart, Artlify offers a seamslessly way of creating auctions based on the actual catalog of each gallery.
